These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the iPhone app
"WeightTracker" (shown on your device as "Weight Log"; the "App") provided by MOCHA, LIMITED LIABILITY CO. ("we", "us").
By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 1 (About the App)
The App is a lifelog app for recording your weight, body fat %, memos and mood, checking your trend on
graphs and the calendar, and showing how far you have come toward your goal.
A companion character helps you keep recording.
Article 2 (Health notice)
The App is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any condition.
The numbers, graphs, progress guidance and goal-pace guidance shown by the App are for reference, based on the information you enter.
The App does not give medical advice. You are responsible for your own decisions about your health, diet and exercise.
If you have health concerns or want advice on managing your weight, please consult a doctor or other professional.
Article 3 (Premium plans: auto-renewing subscriptions and one-time purchase)
Using the App's features requires a paid auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time purchase (the "Premium plan").
Prices, billing periods and whether a free trial is offered (and its length) are as shown on the purchase screen.
If a free trial is offered, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period, it automatically converts to a paid subscription and the displayed price is charged.
A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation. The renewal fee is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions from the Apple ID subscriptions screen in your device's Settings app, or from the management screen opened from the App's Settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
If you purchase during a free trial period, any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited at purchase.
The one-time purchase is paid once and is not a subscription; it is not renewed or billed again.
You can restore purchases you have already made with "Restore Purchases" in the App.
Payments and refunds are handled under Apple's policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
Article 4 (External services)
The App uses the following services and features. Their availability may vary depending on your
environment and OS version.
Apple App Store (purchases and payment)
RevenueCat (managing purchase status)
iCloud (syncing records; only if you turn it on)
An internet connection is required to load plans, purchase, restore purchases and use iCloud sync.
Article 5 (Handling of data)
Recorded data is stored on your device and, if you turn it on, in your iCloud. It is not stored on our servers.
Data may be lost when you change devices, delete the App, a device fails, or due to iCloud problems or settings. Please back up important records, for example with "Export as CSV".

Article 6 (Prohibited acts)
You must not:
Act in violation of laws or public order and morals
Misuse the App or interfere with its operation
Reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise analyze the App
Circumvent or tamper with the App's purchase status checks
Infringe the rights of us or any third party
Article 7 (Changes to or suspension of the service)
We may change the App, add or remove features, or suspend the service without prior notice to users.
Article 8 (Disclaimer)
The App is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the App will be continuously available, that what it displays is accurate or complete, or that it is fit for a particular purpose.
Graphs, averages and progress guidance are for reference based on the values you enter. We are not responsible for their results or for any effect on your health.
Notifications and widgets may not be shown or updated as scheduled, depending on device settings and OS behavior.
We are not liable for damages (including loss of data) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 9 (Intellectual property)
Intellectual property rights in the App and its characters, illustrations, designs and text
belong to us or the rightful owners.
You must not copy, republish or distribute them beyond personal use.
Article 10 (Changes to these Terms)
We may change these Terms as needed.
The revised Terms take effect when posted on this page.
If you use the App after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
Article 11 (Governing law)
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
